Bangladesh Railway Application Rules:
02 (two) copies of attested passport size photograph, photocopy of national identity card, financial soundness certificate from an authorized bank, experience certificate (if any) and attested photocopy of up-to-date trade license of City Corporation/Municipality/Union Parishad should be sent with the application or 03 (three) 5% security deposit as per one-time fare calculation for the year should be submitted along with the application along with the pay order/bank draft issued in favor of the respective FA&CAO of Railways.
Preference will be given to applicants with genuine booksellers and newspaper agencies. Those currently running bookstalls at various railway stations will also have to apply for re-employment.
1.Recently 3 (three) copies of passport size photographs should be pasted in the specified place of the application form and admit card.
2. 100- (one hundred) taka for examination fee in code-1-5131-0000-2031 original copy of treasury challan should be attached with the application form.
3. Full marks of the exam-100 (Written-70, Oral-30). 50% marks in written and oral examination separately will be considered as passing marks.
4. No daily allowance or traveling allowance will be given to the candidates for participating in the examination.
5. While sending the application form, the name of the post and the name of the candidate’s district should be clearly written on the upper left side of the envelope. All information regarding the recruitment will be published on the website of Railways.

6. In case freedom fighters and suitable freedom fighter candidates are not available, sons-daughters of freedom fighters/martyrs and if sons-daughters are not available, age limit is relaxable up to 32 years for sons-daughters and physically challenged. No affidavit regarding age will be admissible.
7. The application of candidates for employment in Government Organizations/Semi-Government Organizations should be submitted through the concerned department within the prescribed date.
8. Defective or incomplete application will be considered rejected without assigning any reason. Overwriting cannot be used in the application form.
9. The examination will be held at Bajshahi and Chittagong centers.
10.Bangladesh Railway Authority reserves the right to cancel the operation of this recruitment circular or withdraw the number of posts without assigning any reason.
Bangladesh Railway is basically divided into two parts, one part on the eastern side of river Yamuna and the other on the western side. They are called the eastern and western regions respectively. The length of the eastern side is 1279 km and the length of the western side is 1427 km. Besides, the 32 km long Rupsa-Bagerhat broad-gauge railway section on the eastern side of the Rupsa river in the southern region is also considered as the third part of the Bangladesh Railway.
